Casa Manara
Located in Marbella’s renowned Golden Mile and nestled within the royal palace complex of King Fahd, Casa Manara stands as a symbol of prestige and exclusivity. Its prime location, surrounded by lush greenery and offering breathtaking sea views, is only part of its allure. The property’s architectural, historical, and cultural significance elevate its status as a true gem.

The Challenge
Undertaking the renovation of a building with historical character demands a delicate approach—preserving its unique identity and charm without compromising its authenticity. The key lies in carefully analysing its weaknesses to enhance its heritage value. Architecture is not just about structures; this precious stone, ready to be polished, is set within a natural environment that has been weathered by time. The task at hand is to harmonise architecture with the surrounding nature.
The plot features two buildings separated by a significant slope, presenting the challenge of seamlessly connecting the two in a way that feels fluid and organic.

Our Solution
The design of Casa Manara is rooted in creating a harmonious blend of past and present. We retain the Andalusian character through details such as sparrow-tail cornices and heraldic shields, while restoring ornamental elements that were scattered throughout the grounds. Vegetation, often overlooked, becomes the emblem of the estate, with ancient cypress trees serving as sentinels framing the views.
Through the natural flora, which has integrated into the landscape over time, we establish a connection between the dispersed structures—akin to the restoration of ornamental details with a unifying adhesive. These thoughtful interventions transport the villa into a contemporary realm of luxury and comfort, while preserving its timeless essence.
